  3. A Community Meeting About Landscape Design and Public Art For the New IRIS CHANG PARK

    February 9, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ 680 Epic Way

The City of San José is preparing a master plan for Iris Chang Park, a new neighborhood park at the end of Epic Way off of River Oaks Parkway. Named in memory of Iris Chang, a former San José resident and world-renown author, the City wants to engage the community in identifying and prioritizing recreation needs and providing suggestions for amenities to be included as the Iris Chang Park Master Plan is developed. A second community workshop to review draft landscape designs and provide input on the public artist’s conceptual design proposal for the project will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the 3rd floor yoga room at 680 Epic Way, San Jose, CA 95134. If you can’t attend the meeting, information on the project will be posted to the City’s website: https://www.sanjoseca.gov/index.aspx?NID=204 under News and Announcements.
