    ¡Viva Parks! is a series for FREE public events focused on health and wellness resources, physical activities, and community engagement. Weekly activities vary from park to park, but may include: Zumba and fitness boot camps, zorb races and climbing wall, hay wagon (Emma Prusch only), free roller skating (Roosevelt Only), healthy food demos, bounce houses, cultural arts performances, pop-up soccer, skate competitions, community resources, physical fitness.   4. Unveiling of Backesto Park Tennis Courts Sign Honor Coach Don Johnson.

    July 29, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Backesto Park

    The celebration of life recognizes a beloved coach and Sports Hall Fame inductee, Coach Johnson. Johnson taught thousands of San José children in the Almaden Strings, Backesto Backhanders, Glen Oaks Racketeers, and the Los Paseos Lobsters programs. After the unveiling, the Northern California Section of the United States Tennis Association will provide tennis activities.
