Noble Dog Park Community Meeting

Councilmember Kansen Chu and the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services invite you to attend a community meeting regarding the proposed Noble Dog Park, located on Noble Avenue. Attend this informational meeting to learn more about the proposed dog park and parking options.Based on the input from this meeting, the City will prepare a draft master plan.Once the master plan is drafted, it would then be reviewed by the City’s Planning Department, followed by the Parks and Recreation Commission, and will then be brought to the City Council for adoption and approval. Since the community meeting in February 2012, the City’s Environmental Services Department has done a review of the soil and is in the process of preparing the master plan and construction documents for this project.

California’s high-speed rail system will begin its initial construction in 2013. What is the latest status on the route, the stations and the funding? What are the prospects for additional federal funding and other legislative support from Sacramento? The new director of high-speed rail for Northern California, Ben Tripousis, and Hans Larson, director of the Department of Transportation for the City of San Jose, will answer these questions and more.
