    The Hola 5k run/walk promotes to fight against obesity, diabetes, etc., in the Hispanic Community by being physically active. People of all ages are welcome to participate in the race to help encourage the Hispanic Community to become aware of the diseases and engage in more sports.     Join in the fun of deadheading, on Saturday, May 6! Volunteers are needed to deadhead (trim) the 3,500 rose bushes at the Municipal Rose Garden. The busiest day of the year is Mother's Day and we want the garden to be beautiful! No pre-registration necessary--simply join us! Date: Saturday, May 6, 2017 Time: 8:30 AM Registration; 9:00 AM Kick-Off; 12:00 noon Project Complete Place: San Jose Municipal Rose Garden: Naglee & Dana Avenues, San Jose, 95126 Free Parking is available all around the Municipal Rose Garden.
