San José is developing a plan that will provide direction on community-wide initiatives to achieve a sustainable water supply and meet greenhouse gas reduction goals, with a focus on emissions from mobility and energy usage.
Benchmarking is an easy way for buildings to measure and manage their energy and water use over time. With Energy Star Portfolio Manager, building owners and operators can compare their buildings to others with similar uses in similar climate zones and may receive a benchmarking score (1-100). More efficient buildings receive higher benchmarking scores, and contribute greatly to community-wide greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
This task force meeting will discuss data access, privacy, and disclosure issues.

This meeting will be an informational and listening session at the beginning of the process of
updating the Downtown and Diridon Station Area Design Guidelines. City staff will solicit
feedback for the guiding principles and outline of the new guidelines.
