    Get your bikes out, grab your helmets, and join your San José Public Library for a fun-filled day of riding during our 5th annual library bike tour, Gira de Libro Library Tour by Bicycle. Kick off the FREE 20-mile tour by having a basic bicycle safety check and adjustments courtesy of Community Cycles of California. Gira de Libro will visit two SJPL branch libraries and local parks.     Alum Rock Park Rangers invite volunteers to help maintain safe and walkable trails. Arrive early at the Penitencia Creek entrance and follow the “Volunteer Event” signs to the parking lot. All tools and supplies are provided. No experience necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring a filled water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, hat, dress in layers, and wear sunscreen.
