The City of San José Housing Department has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Legal Services for Low-Income Tenants and Landlords Program. This Program is to increase housing stability by providing landlord/tenant counseling, education, referrals, and legal assistance to low-income tenants and landlords. Available legal assistance may pertain to eviction under the City's Tenant Protection Ordinance (TPO), and violations of the City's Apartment Rent Ordinance (ARO). These services will include outreach and education to low-income tenants and landlords citywide.
