The Housing Department is seeking qualifications from individuals and firms interested in researching potential strategies for providing housing opportunities to moderate-income households and conducting a high-level analysis of how the most viable strategies would work in San José.
The selected individual or firm will develop a moderate-income housing report and evaluate feasible strategies that may include policy incentives, publicly subsidized or privately funded financing options, legislative actions, and innovative housing types to address the demand for moderate-income housing. The Housing Department will award a contract to one or more successful respondents for the provision of a report in fall 2019 under a contract that runs through June 30, 2020, with the option to renew for an additional one-year period.
