DEPUTY CITY ATTORNEY(Real Estate)

The San Jose City Attorney’s Office has an opening for a talented and enthusiastic attorney who enjoys advising clients on complex federal, state, and municipal legal issues.

Advisory counsel plays a critical role in providing advice and transactional services to the Mayor and City Council, City Manager, administrative departments, and boards and commissions of this dynamic City, while also assisting with the implementation of major projects and delivery of vital services.

Requirements for this position include a minimum three years experience in redevelopment and/or complex real estate transactions, good academic background, and admission to the California Bar. Excellent writing and oral skills are essential.
