Gitanjali Mandrekar, Senior Program Performance Auditor
Gitanjali Mandrekar is a Senior Program Performance Auditor and has worked at the City Auditor’s Office since 1999. Gitanjali holds a Masters degree in Economics from San Jose State University and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Fergusson College, Pune, India.
Gitanjali has participated in numerous high profile audits including A Review Of The CUSP Request For Proposal Process, and A Review Of The Request For Proposal For The New Civic Center Converged Network System. More recently, Gitanjali participated in financial assessments of the San Jose Repertory Theater and the American Musical Theater and A Review Of The Mexican Heritage Corporation's Ability To Operate And Maintain The Mexican Heritage Plaza. Gitanjali was also part of a team that won the 2006 Knighton Award for An Audit Of Citywide Grant Oversight.
Gitanjali has been a presenter at the Association of Government Auditors (AGA) and participated in a peer review of the Berkeley City Auditor’s Office.
