CAROLYN HUYNH, Program Performance Auditor II
Carolyn has served as a program performance auditor for the City of San Jose since August 2006. Prior to joining the City Auditor’s office, she has worked for the San Francisco Legislative Analyst’s Office conducting policy research, analysis, and writing. Formerly, she was a clinical social worker for various non-profit organizations and social service agencies around the Bay Area serving primarily mentally ill, homeless adults and low-income families.
Carolyn holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a concentration in Public and Economic Policy. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from U.C. Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from U.C. Santa Cruz. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Association of Local Government Auditors.
Carolyn has participated in the following audits: The 2005-06 And 2006-07 Annual Performance Audit Of Team San Jose, Inc., A Review Of The Mexican Heritage Corporation's Ability To Operate And Maintain The Mexican Heritage Plaza, Financial Assessment Of The American Musical Theatre, and the San Jose Repertory Theatre Short-Term And Long-Term Financial Needs.
