JORGE OSEGUERA, Senior Program Performance Auditor
Jorge has been working in performance auditing for the City of San Jose since 2001 and has worked on a variety of projects, including audits of building security, fleet management, grant oversight and debt management. During this time, Jorge’s work has been recognized by the Association of Local Government Auditors with the 2001 Special Project Award, the 2004 Knighton Award Honorable Mention and the 2005 Knighton Award Honorable Mention.
Jorge is a Senior Performance Auditor for the City of San Jose. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from CSU Stanislaus and a Master of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University. He is also a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow of the University of Washington.
Jorge has presented audit reports to San Jose State University, the Association of Local Government Auditors, the Bay Area Local Government Auditors, and to several San Jose City Council Members and Council Committees. In July of 2006, Jorge also participated in a peer review of Clark County, Nevada’s Audit Department.
