The following graph displays the actual and forecasted Building and Structure Construction Tax and Construction Excise Tax receipts from 1988 to 2004. The receipts of both taxes were flat trough the end of the last recession in 1994. The economic boom of the last several years has resulted in receipts of these two taxes reaching historical levels in recent years. Receipts are anticipated to slowly taper off over the five years of the Adopted Capital Improvement Budget.
