@ To be confirmed.
On Tues, 10/27, we kicked off a new process where D3 residents will be able to discuss, propose, and vote on real neighborhood improvement projects.
With a basic introduction to the project under our belts, our next steps are to build out the online voting platform and invite D3 residents to reconvene. Our next D3 convening will be on Saturday, 12/12 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. where we'll dive into this new approach to democracy where the people decide how to spend part of a real public budget. We're still working on a location, but check back here for details!

Currently the City’s riparian policies and requirements, as described in the Envision San José 2040 General Plan and the Santa Clara Valley Habitat Conservation Plan, generally require a minimum riparian corridor setback for development projects that are within 300 feet of a riparian corridor.
The City is considering a Riparian Corridor Policy/Ordinance Study to evaluate specific provisions for these setbacks as well as bird-safe design standards for new development.
