MEDIA ADVISORY

       NEW PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE FOR MEDIA VEHICLES
AT SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

San Jose, CA -- In light of enhanced security measures imposed by the Federal Aviation Administration, media vehicles may only park at the following locations at San Jose International Airport:

·        The north end of the Staff/Blue parking lot north of Terminal C.  The restricted area at the south end of this parking lot is fenced off.

·        The short-term parking lot in front of Terminal C.  Please be aware that given the parking lot’s proximity to the Terminal building, all vehicles entering the lot are subject to inspection.

Media vehicles parking anywhere on Airport property other than the above designated areas, including those locations formerly approved by Airport officials, will be cited and towed.  This includes vehicles in position for live feeds.
