BACKGROUND: This is the first time the Convention Center has partnered with a major brand since it opened in 1989. Starbucks is the first of many upgrades you'll be seeing at the Convention Center in coming months. A Krispy Kreme satellite location is scheduled to open in late November.
These new services will mean an added convenience for the more than 400,000 people who attend events and conferences at the Convention Center each year. Starbucks is located at the west end of the Convention Center near the Almaden Boulevard entrance and will be open 7 days a week.
