MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TUESDAY, AUGUST 24, 1999
The Council of the City of San Jose convened in Adjourned Regular Session at 3:58 P.M. to consider Item 8a in a joint meeting with the Redevelopment Agency Board.
Present: Council Members - Chavez, Dando, Diaz, Diquisto, Fiscalini, LeZotte, Matthews, Powers, Shirakawa, Jr., Woody; Gonzales.
Absent: Council Members - None.

8a Adoption of resolutions by the City Council and Agency Board approving an Owner Participation Agreement with Southern Lumber Company for Agency assistance in an amount not to exceed $48,000, for off-site public improvements at the Southern Lumber Company development at South First and East Alma Streets; and making certain findings. CEQA: Resolution No. 65657 [Monterey Corridor]
Documents filed: Memorandum from Interim Executive Director, Richard Rios, dated August 11, 1999, recommending adoption of said resolutions.
Discussion/Action: Upon motion by Council Member Fiscalini, seconded by Council Member Powers, and unanimously carried, and unanimously carried, Resolution No. 69090, entitled: “Resolution of the Council of the City of San José Approving an Owner Participation Agreement with Southern Lumber Company for Agency Assistance in an Amount Not to Exceed $48,000, for Off-Site Public Improvements at the Southern Lumber Company Development at South First Street and East Alma Streets; and Making Certain Findings”, was adopted. Vote: 11-0-0-0.
