The Council of the City of San Jose convened in Adjourned Regular Session at 5:05 p.m., for a joint meeting with the Redevelopment Agency in Council Chambers at City Hall.
Present: Council Members: Chavez, Cortesé, Diquisto, LeZotte, Shirakawa Jr., Williams; Gonzales
Absent: Council Members: Campos, Dando, Reed, Yeager (all excused)
7.1 Adoption of resolutions by the City Council and Agency Board approving the Annual Report of Financial Transactions of Community Redevelopment Agency, Fiscal Year 2000-2001, and directing Staff to forward the report to the State of California Controller.
Documents Filed: Memorandum from Redevelopment Agency Executive Director, Susan F. Shick, dated December 18, 2001, recommending the adoption of said resolutions.
Discussion/Action: Upon motion by Vice Mayor Shirakawa, Jr., seconded by Council Member Chavez and unanimously carried, Resolution No. 70781, entitled: “Resolution of the Council of the City of San José Approving the Annual Report of Financial Transactions of Community Redevelopment Agencies, Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and Directing Redevelopment Agency Staff to Forward the Report to the State of California Controller”; and Redevelopment Agency Board Resolution No. 5241 approving the Annual Report and directing Staff to forward the report to the State of California Controller, were adopted. Vote: 7-0-4-0. Absent: Campos, Dando, Reed and Yeager.
