The
Council of the City of San José convened at 5:45 p.m. to hear Item 7.1 in a Joint Session with the
Redevelopment Agency Board in Council Chambers
at City Hall.
Present: Council Members - Campos, Chavez, Chirco, Cortese, Dando, Gregory, LeZotte, Reed, Williams, Yeager; Gonzales.
Absent: Council Members - None.
7.1 Approval
of a Cooperation Agreement between the City and the Agency transferring the
rights, title and interest in the Fallon House Gift Shop and parking area, and
the Confluence East Tennis Courts.
Documents Filed: Memorandum from Executive Director of Redevelopment Agency Executive Director Susan Shick, dated June 24, 2003, recommending adoption of said resolution approving the Cooperation Agreement for the Fallon House Gift Shop and parking area, and the Confluence East Tennis Courts, and authorizing the City Manager and Redevelopment Agency Executive Director to negotiate and execute all necessary documents.
Discussion/Action: Upon motion by Council Member Chavez, seconded by Council Member Reed, and unanimously carried, Resolution No. 71696, entitled: “A Resolution of the Council of the City of San José Approving a Cooperation Agreement Transferring the San José Redevelopment Agency’s Rights, Title and Interest in the Fallon House Gift Shop and Parking Area and The Confluence East Tennis Courts to the City of San José; and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute All Necessary Documents”, and Redevelopment Agency Resolution No. 5424, were adopted. Vote: 11-0-0-0.

domain.
