Amendment to Legal Services Agreement with Rankin, Landsness, Lahde, et al.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution authorizing the
City Attorney to negotiate and execute a third amendment to the legal services
agreement with Rankin, Landsness, Lahde, Serverian & Stock, to increase the
total amount of compensation by $8,000, to a total amount not to exceed
$183,000.
Background
The law firm of Rankin, Landsness,
Lahde, Serverian & Stock is handling a conflicts case which has not yet
been resolved. Additional work is
needed on this matter; therefore, we are requesting that the City Council
approve an amendment to increase the total compensation by $8,000, to a total
amount not to exceed $183,000.
