motion of Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Vice-Chair Chirco, the Committee
accepted the report.

Report on City/San Jose State University Joint Library (Library)
Upon
motion of Vice-Chair Chirco, seconded by Councilmember Gregory, the Committee
accepted the report.
c.
Family Camp Annual Report (Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services)
Upon
motion of Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Vice-Chair Chirco, the Committee
accepted the report.
d.
Update on Parent Institute for Quality Education (Parks, Recreation and
Neighborhood Services)
Upon
motion of Vice-Chair Chirco, seconded by Councilmember Gregory, the Committee
accepted the report.
e.
Update on Joint Use Agreements with School Districts, including
City/Schools Collaborative (Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services) (Referred
from 2/27/03 [Item c], 3/20/03 [Item e], and 4/10/03 [Item a] ACA Committee for
further discussion)
Upon
motion of Vice Mayor Dando, seconded by Councilmember Gregory, the Committee
accepted the report, with the directive that staff return to the June 12
meeting with the following:
a)
Final count
of the survey sent to principals and supervisors;
b)
Timeline of
the new San Jose After School structure;
c)
Result of
same survey to be sent to parent groups; and
d)
Evaluation/assessment
of the City/Schools Collaborative.
