BACKGROUND

As part of the City’s preventive maintenance program, the Department of Transportation annually schedules streets to receive a Paver Placed Surface Seal.  The streets were chosen based on information provided by the City's Pavement Management System, data gathered during field investigations, and timing with other City projects.  It is noted that the total amount of streets treated will be based on available funding and estimated quantity of work on each street.  Budget allows for approximately 12 miles of thirty foot equivalent streets (TFES) to receive this treatment.
