RENAMING OF SEGMENT OF SAN FERNANDO STREET LOCATED BETWEEN BUSH STREET AND
LAUREL GROVE LANE TO LAUREL GROVE LANE.
RECOMMENDATION
The Planning Commission voted 5-0-2 (Commissioners Platten and Campos absent) to recommend that the City Council approve the renaming of the segment of the subject public street. The proposed street renaming was recommended for approval as part of the Planning Commission’s Consent Calendar.
BACKGROUND
On August 13, 2003, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing to consider the renaming of a segment of San Fernando Street located between Bush Street and Laurel Grove Lane to Laurel Grove Lane. The Director of Planning recommended approval of the proposed Street Renaming. No one appeared in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Street Renaming.
ANALYSIS
The proposed street naming meets the Street Name Change Council Policy.
PUBLIC OUTREACH
All affected property owners were notified, in accordance with the requirement of the Street Naming Council Policy.
COORDINATION
This street renaming was coordinated with County Communications and the U.S. Post Office.
CEQA
This
project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA.
