1. Report on the Construction Impact Mitigation Plan Outreach

Chair Cortese noted for the record that the direction here today was moved unanimously by the two Committee members in attendance, with direction to staff to bring the revised CIMP report to Council on September 30, 2003.

2. School Transportation Safety Programs Update

The Committee accepted the written status report.

The Committee received the written status report.

2. Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), Valley Transportation Plan (VTP) 2020 Update

Chair Cortese noted for the record that the direction here today was moved unanimously by the two Committee members in attendance, report accepted with direction to staff to reach out to all the Council offices to try and build upon the highest ranking projects list (attachment A), and prepare a list that would identify, with an asterisk, (*) staffs recommendations for having the best opportunity given the existing criteria. Approval of a list to forward to MTC and set priorities subsequent to that. A supplemental report will be prepared and submitted to Council on September 23, 2003. Also it was decided that the Committee retain the VTP 2030 item through December 2003.
