Purpose: ICMA's 87th Annual Conference. I have been invited to participate on a panel entitled: “Show Me the Money: Fiscal Impacts of Smart Growth.” Discussion will focus on understanding the fiscal impacts of a smart growth strategy on a city's capital and operating budget. In addition, how smart growth strategy is critical when creating strategic plans and presenting options to policy makers.
