Inoperable Motor Vehicles
OR Vehicles Parked on Lawns or Unpaved Surfaces ?

For vehicles on private property:

  • parked on an unpaved surface
  • inoperable for over 72 hours(missing essential parts like engine, transmission, wheels, windshield)
  • you may fill out this form and fax it to 408-277-3290 or call Code Enforcement at 408-277-4528
    Vehicle Abatement Complaint and Inquiry Report

For vehicles that are parked on the street and are:

  • unused for 72 hours (3 days)
  • unregistered for over 6 months
  • inoperable (missing essential parts like engine, transmission, wheels, windshield)
  • you may fill out this form and fax it to 408-288-7322 or call Department of Transportation at 408-277-5305
