Kathy Tsukamoto - Executive Assistant and Scheduler
Kathy Tsukamoto serves as Executive Assistant and Scheduler to Councilmember Nora Campos. Prior to coming to the Office of Councilmember Nora Campos, Kathy was Executive Assistant to State Farm's Vice President of Agency and Executive Assistant to San José's Deputy City Manager for neighborhood services. Kathy is a life-long resident of East San José and an alumni of the Alum Rock and Eastside Union school districts. She and her husband, Don, attended Horace Cureton Elementary School, Joseph George Middle School, and James Lick High School. Their son Adam is a freshman at San Jose State University majoring in Music/Percussion Performance and their daughter Amanda is a sophomore at Independence High School.

Ryan Ford - Chief of Staff
Ryan Ford was raised in San José before attending Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Economics. Ryan gained experience in the field of economic development before being hired by former Councilmember Ken Yeager to work in the Council District 6 office. Ryan joined the staff of Councilmember Nora Campos to work on policy and land use issues.

Rolando Bonilla - Media Director

As Communications/Strategic Advisor, Rolando is responsible for developing the media strategy for the Councilmember, as well as, marketing District 5. Rolando has over eight years of experience in media, government, and community relations.

Javier González - Community Relations Director

Javier González was raised in San José and attended Santa Clara University, where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. While in high school and college, Javier worked in the education and nonprofit sectors for several years. After completing his education at Santa Clara University, Javier worked for a San José councilmember for two years as policy analyst. Prior to coming to work on Councilmember Nora Campos’ staff, Javier worked for California State Senator Elaine Alquist.

Vanessa Flores - Community Relations Coordinator
Vanessa Flores is a resident of East San José and alumna of James Lick High School. Vanessa is currently in her fourth year at Santa Clara University majoring in Communications with a minor in Spanish Studies. As Community Relations Coordinator, Vanessa manages constituent issues, media logs, website content and is responsible for neighborhood clean-ups, neighborhood associations, Police Athletic League (P.A.L), and tree plantings. She looks forward to working with her community of neighbors in District 5.

Lauren Sutherland - Legislative Liaison

Lauren Sutherland was born and raised in San José. She is a graduate of San José State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. Lauren's responsibilities include: City Council items, managing Hewlett Packard (HP) grants, Youth Commission, Silicon Valley Anti-Litter Committee and Family/Domestic Violence Advisory Board for Councilmember Nora Campos.
