Fowler Creek Park

Fowler Creek Park is a 12 acre triangular shaped property in the heart of the Evergreen Specific Plan (ESP) area. Located off of Fowler Road at Cortona Drive across from Chaboya Middle School, this parcel's masterplan was first adopted in 1989. Councilmember Cortese's office and Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services began the process of updating the masterplan in 2002. Five community meetings (April 10th, June 26th, September 7th, November 6th, and March 12th, 2003) were held to determine what amenities the neighborhood wanted to see in their new park. The updated masterplan received approval from the San Jose City Council in Fall 2003. A community process is currently underway for the design of the playground equipment.
