DATA PROCESSING CONTROL CLERK (1322)

CLASS PURPOSE

   Under general supervision, performs clerical work of moderate difficulty to ensure control over accuracy and completeness of data processing input and output and stage jobs for input to computer processing. Performs related work as required.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

   This class is supervised by a Senior Computer Operator, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor, or the Data Processing Operations Supervisor and is distinguished from other data processing classes in its emphasis on clerical control of data processing operations and responsibility for the tape library.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Knowledges, Skills and Abilities:

Training and Experience

   Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of high school and two (2) years experience in data processing control operations.
