CLASS SUMMARY:
Positions in this class are designed to perform duties of a temporary nature for a period not to exceed 120 working days or 960 hours, whichever is greater, in any payroll calendar years. Appointment to this position is at will with no right to continued employment. Positions within this classification are categorized according to their functional responsibilities and pay for each position will generally equal the salary range in the most similar civil service classification at the time service is begun.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
The Temporary Employee Retiree PT classification receives no benefits. Since this is a part-time position, incumbents are required to work less than 39 hours per week. Compensation is hourly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications are based on the needs of the individual position and are similar to comparable civil service classifications.
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience similar to comparable civil service classifications as determined by the hiring department management and the Human Resources Department prior to recruitment for the position.
Licensing Requirements:
