Emergency
Are
you witnessing something that appears to endanger the environment? If
the situation places human life at imminent risk to life or limb, call
911.
Otherwise
review the agency descriptions below and call the appropriate agency
to report the situation.

Call
Local Fire Department Responds to all fires (911).
In the case of park land or wildfires you may need to report to
California Department of Forestry Fire.

Call
the Water Pollution Control Plant (408-945-5300)
If something has been discharged to the sanitary sewer that can
cause pollution or harm to the sewer system. If something explosive
like a large quantity of gasoline has been spilled to the sewer,
you should also dial 911. For severe situations, you may also want
to notify the National Response Center 1-800-424-8802,
or the State Office of Emergency Services 1-800-852-7550

Call
Environmental Enforcement Non Point Source section at (408)
945-3000 if you see any thing harmfull or deleterious discharged
to a storm drain or stream.

the County of Santa Clara Hazardous Materials Compliance Division
(408) 299-6930 if you witness inappropriate
disposal or storage of Hazardous Materials.

the California Highway Patrol (916) 327-3310
for spills or emergencies on the highway.
