NREL National Wind Technology Center
Division within NREL focusing on research and development of wind technology to allow competitive markets of wind to thrive and expand. Bioenergy Producers Association (BPA)
Mission to advance the development and commercialization of sustainable, forestry, and urban sources of biomass and plastic wastes. The mission is accomplished through serving as a voice for California’s biobased industries to inform and advise policymakers; promote the development of a comprehensive bioenergy policy; facilitate dialogue with key stakeholders; pursue legislation to update waste statute’s; advocate net-metering and distributed energy options; and educate the public about the environmental and economic benefits of biobased industries.
