2009 Water Conservation Showcase

The City of San José strives to encourage the use of Green Building techniques for municipal, commercial and residential building projects in San José and provides these events to create greater awareness of Green Building practices. These City of San José educational programs are brought to you in partnership with the Pacific Energy Center and the Silicon Valley Energy Watch partnership, a collaboration between Pacific Gas & Electric and the City of San José.

Developers, architects, engineers, contractors, property owners and residents can learn more about environmentally sound building practices through the Green Building Program Brochure produced by the City of San José (PDF format, 90 K).

Green-It-Yourself Brochure for Residents

Green-It-Yourself (PDF format, 747 K) is do-it-yourself guide for residents that offers green ideas in three major categories of home improvements: energy efficiency, water conservation and green materials. Produced by RecycleWorks of San Mateo County.
