Drinking Water
The San José Municipal Water System serves four different areas in the City of San José: North San José/Alviso, Evergreen, Edenvale and Coyote—10% of the City's population. Visit the website to view the service map, rates, water quality report and more.

Free energy meters are now available for residents to check out from the West Valley, Alum Rock, and Evergreen libaries in San José.Energy Resources

Pollution Prevention for Residents
Water from tubs, toilets and taps inside homes travels through pipes to the San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant where it is treated and then discharged into the San Francisco Bay. Proper disposal of household hazardous waste keeps pollutants out of the sanitary sewer system and protects the health of our communities and the Bay.
