All
South Bay Water Connections activities have been piloted
in local classrooms and are correlated to the California Content
Standards for grades 6 to 8 in the areas of Science, English-Language
Arts, and Mathematics. These environmental education activities
build on each other, but may also be used as separate plug-ins to
add a local South Bay perspective to other curricula. View

for secondary school students.
South Bay Water Connections is offered through

In addition to the activities in the teacher's
guide, South Bay Water Connections includes several other
important tools:
A
list of field trips and online resources to support
watershed studies,
- Videotapes on the Water Pollution Control Plant,
South Bay Water Recycling, and It's Wet!, It's Wild, It's Water!
(an award-winning, MTV-style video with student reporters discussing
water supply, water conservation, and pollution prevention),
- Two classroom posters, including the bird's
eye view of the Watershed of Southern San Francisco Bay and the
award-winning Wastewater Paths.
South Bay Water Connections is offered
through training workshops to all educators working with 6th through
