Overview
The Alma Community Center is a safe, welcoming place providing a lunch program for older adults and afterschool supervision for children and youth. At the Youth Center, a drop-in afterschool program is available for youth ages 6 to 14 and provides homework assistance, arts & crafts, and recreation opportunities. At the Senior Center, we offer a weekday lunch program and other social activities for older adults over the age of 60 and those who are disabled. We also host a number of special cultural and holiday celebrations.

City of San Jose Senior Nutrition Program

Enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal at a community center conveniently located in 13 neighborhoods in San Jose. The City of San Jose in partnership with Bateman Senior Meals, provides meals to Older Adults 60+ at 13 community centers throughout the city. All meals served at our community centers meet county health standards.
