2010 Falcon Naming Contest

In this year’s contest to name Clara and Esteban Colbert’s three falcon chicks – two boys and a girl – nearly 130 submissions were received by the Mayor’s Office. A panel of judges carefully scored more than 50 of the top submissions before selecting the names listed below. Congratulations to the 14 finalists!

Please vote for your favorite names – one girl falcon name and two boy falcon names – at the San José Peregrine Falcon Alliance website. Voting closes Thursday, May 13 at 5 p.m.
