The City offers a choice between two vision care providers: EyeMed Vision Care and Vision Service Plan (VSP) and three different plans. Vision exams are not ncluded with the EyeMed - Materials Only insurance plan.
Eligibility
All full-time and part-time benefited employees are eligible to enroll themselves and their eligible dependents into one of the City’s vision plans.
Cost
Employee and City premium rates are subject to change each year in January in accordance with contract renewals. Employee contributions toward monthly premiums are determined by the applicable Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the bargaining unit or according to the Benefit and Compensation Summary.
