Fred was raised in the small San Joaquin Valley city of Dos Palos.  He moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.  He later received a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University.  Before joining the District 4 staff, Fred worked in the legal profession for a number of years and later accepted a position with then Councilmember Sam Liccardo in 2008.  He remained with the office of now Mayor Sam Liccardo for nearly seven (7) years, handling issues related to transportation, code enforcement, parks, as well as constituent services to several neighborhoods in Downtown San Jose.

Jonathan is a San Jose native, born and raised in Silicon Valley, with the exception of four years back east for college where he graduated from Harvard with a degree in Government. Before joining the District 4 team, Jonathan worked as public high school teacher and then transitioned back into public policy working at Joint Venture Silicon Valley. After his time at Joint Venture, Jonathan ran policy and fundraising operations for Sam Liccardo’s successful 2014 mayoral campaign. He then worked at the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Public Policy where he led local business efforts in helping expand San Jose’s Indirect Portable Reuse Water Plant right here in North San Jose. Jonathan is focused on a broad range of policy initiatives related to District 4, but runs point on economic development, land use, innovation, and housing. While not in the office, Jonathan enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and brewing.

Louella was born and raised in the Philippines and currently resides in San Jose, Caifornia where she moved in 2012. She attended Far Eastern University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with cum laude honors in 2011. Louella is highly interested in volunteering, especially in the areas of child care and indigenous groups rights. Policy areas that she covers include senior citizen concerns and education. In her spare time, Louella loves traveling with her friends and family.

Trevor was born and raised in the City Of San Jose. He is a proud product of San Jose schools and holds a degree in Political Science from San Jose State University. Before joining the District 4 office as a Council Assistant, Trevor worked on Sam Liccardo’s Mayoral Campaign, then served as the Field Director on Manh Nguyen’s successful campaign for City Council. Policy areas that he handles include: parks and neighborhoods, land use, permitting, and constituent services. In his free time he enjoys exploring the city of San Jose, exercising, and hiking in the nearby foothills.

My was born and raised in a small town in Vietnam. She later moved to San Jose and attended San Jose City College where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She is currently attending San Jose State University where she is studying Business Management and Human Resources. During May 2015, My decided to join Manh Nguyen's Campaign for District 4 City Council and, following Manh's victory, she was hired as a Council Assistant to the District 4 Office. For leisure, My loves to cook, travel and take care of her two dogs.
