Program Accomplishments & Progress
The Housing Department’s programs help the City to achieve its priority housing-related goals and objectives.  The following reports provide updates on program accomplishments and progress.
  • Housing Production Program Report:The Production Program funds affordable housing developers to increase the supply of new and newly-affordable rental housing in the City of San José. This Report lists  pending projects by their funding and construction status for the current fiscal year.    
  • Housing Production Summary Report:This Summary Report lists all new construction and acquisition / rehabilitation large projects that the City has funded since its inception in 1988.
  • Homebuyer Programs Report: The Homebuyer Programs support first-time homebuyers to purchase homes in San José. The report summarizes loan volumes and progress under its programs. 
  • Home Repair Programs Report: The Home Repair Programs helps low-income homeowners to maintain the quality of their single family homes and mobilehomes by the provision of loans and grants. This report summarizes activities and accomplishments under these programs.
  • Rental Rights and Referrals Report: The Rental Rights and Referrals program manages the City’s ordinances governing rent increases on apartments and mobile homes. This report summarizes activities and accomplishments under these programs.
