RFP CSJ HSG 3-15-17 Rapid Rehousing Program

The City of San José Housing Department is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Rapid Rehousing for homeless and unhoused households.  Funded through the HOME program, a federal funding source, and the City’s General Fund, qualified organizations are invited to submit proposals to serve as the Rental Subsidy Administrator (RSA) and/or the Supportive Services Administrator (SSA) for Rapid Rehousing.  This RFP seeks to contract with one or more community based organizations to provide housing search and placement, time-limited subsidies, case management and employment development services to homeless individuals and households in San José with a goal of maintaining permanent affordable housing.

The application is available on the City’s WebGrants system.  Completed proposals are due on May 1, 2017 at 12:00 PM (Noon).

The City’s Housing staff will conduct an optional pre-proposal conference at the following time and location to assist all RFP respondents in completing the application and required forms, and enhance their understanding of applicable requirements and evaluation criteria:

WebGrants is the City of San José citywide web-based grants management database. The Housing Department requires all nonprofits that receive funding to use the system to apply for funds, produce quarterly performance reports, and submit reimbursement requests.
