Animal Care Center Adoption Program
Our Animal Care Center has many wonderful pets to adopt. All are in desperate need of a loving home. If you are thinking about adding a new pet to your family, please consider one of our animals. We have friendly and knowledgeable staff available to help you choose a pet to best fit in with your needs and lifestyle.

Remember though, adding a pet to your family is a big decision. All animals require training and commitment. Some pets can live well into their teens and many may have special medical needs as they get older, such as medication, frequent checkups, etc., just like people. All these things, including the joy of having a loyal friend, should be factored in before you decide to take on this responsibility.

Adoption Requirements
To adopt an animal from the Animal Care Center, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be over the age of 18 years old and have a government-issued photo ID.
• Any members of the household between the ages of 5 and 10 years old must meet the new pet prior to finalizing an adoption.
• You must live where pets are allowed.
• All members of household must consent to the adoption.
• If you are planning to adopt a dog or puppy, all dogs in the household must be brought in for an on-site introduction to the new dog prior to finalizing an adoption. 
• All animals in the household must be currently licensed. If they are not, licenses can be updated at time of adoption.

Adoption Fees
Dog and cat adoption fees include spay / neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and a one-year license. Rabbit adoption fees include vaccinations and microchipping.
