City of San José Open Data
Open Data Information

Open Data is about providing free access to data in a machine readable format, under an open license that allows the citizens to reuse and redistribute the data. City of San José went live with its Open Data Portal in 2015. Since then the City has published several datasets including police calls for service, procurement cards transaction and permitting data among others. With the help of Open Data the City aims to be transparent and accountable, improve efficiency and effectiveness of its services, empower citizens and innovate in the way we do business.
