Only pets owned in the incorporated cities of San Jose, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Milpitas, or Saratoga should be licensed through this website. Before you begin, you must:

1. Go to SCC Online Property Profile to check what city your residence is in (and if it's incorporated).

2. Go to Property Assessment Information System to confirm your city (and if it's incorporated).

If both of the sites above confirm you are a resident of INCORPORATED San Jose, Milpitas, Cupertino, Los Gatos, or Saratoga, you qualify to buy or renew your license online.

3. Prepare Your Materials

• Have your Rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate with you as you fill out the forms.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for online payments.
• Senior Exemptions cannot be completed online. You must mail your application or come into the Animal Care Center.
