Receptions, Weddings & Ceremonies
The City offers a wide variety of unique settings for celebrations and special occasions. Venue options including City Hall, Regional and Neighborhood Parks, Community Centers and plaza/paseos are available throughout the city.

San Jose’s City Hall is located at 200 East Santa Clara Street between Fourth and Sixth Street in downtown San Jose. City Hall is an architecturally modern building located in the downtown area, designed by Richard Meier. The building includes a centrally-located domed rotunda, public meeting spaces and a large plaza. Each of these spaces is available for rental for meetings, weddings and corporate receptions.  The Event Services staff at City Hall is excited to provide you more details on hosting your event at this landmark City site.

In addition to any venue use fees, additional permits and/or inspections (depending on selected event activities and use of temporary structures) may be required from the Fire Department, Police Department, Transportation and County Health Department, etc.
