Festival, Parade & Celebration Grants
Through the Office of Cultural Affairs, the City of San José offers several programs of financial support to ensure a continuing and rich variety of cultural opportunities for its residents as well as visitors to the city.

Festival, Parade and Celebration (FPC) Grants offer financial support for San José community festivals, parades and celebrations that are held for the economic enhancement, cultural enrichment and/or promotion of the City of San José.
The minimum FPC grant award is $2,500. The grant award to any event being held for the first time is limited to $5,000. The grant award may not exceed 50% of the total event expenditure budget.

How to Apply

The FPC Grant Application is an online application submitted through WebGrants, the City’s one-stop online portal for grant opportunities offered throughout the City. All applicants will access, complete and submit electronic applications using the WebGrants portal. The application will be posted in WebGrants after the first pre-application workshop, the date of which is noted below.

For reference, guidelines and application instructions for the PREVIOUS funding cycle of FY2016-17 are located in the Resources section.  Information for the upcoming funding cycle of FY2017-18 will be posted in late November.
