Playoff Fan Central - San Jose McEnery Convention Center

Playoff Fan Central is a 300,000 square-foot interactive experience that gives thousands of fans the opportunity to be a part of the College Football Playoff National Championship. The three-day, family-friendly event includes games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, special guest appearances, autograph signings and exhibits celebrating college football and its history. Playoff Fan Central creates memories that last a lifetime. The Bay Area is excited to announce that the San Jose McHenry Convention Center will host this family-friendly event.  On Friday, January 4, admission is FREE for Bay Area residents.

AT&T Playoff Playlist LIVE! - Discovery Meadow Park

AT&T Playoff Playlist LIVE! is the ultimate soundtrack of the College Football Playoff National Championship. Each year, the FREE, outdoor concert series features a variety of national recording artists, including up-and-coming bands and long-time favorites. AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! kicks off Friday evening (January 4) with performances by Alessia Cara and Brynn Elliott. The music continues Saturday (January 5) with Logic, Leon Bridges and Jay Rock. The final night, Sunday (January 6), features OneRepublic and Ellie Goulding.  In 2019, this concert series will take place at Discovery Meadow.  Admission is free, but capacity is limited, so come early to get a good spot!

Media Day - SAP Center

Media Day is FREE and open to the public. Fans are invited to watch as both teams and coaching staffs participate in media interviews prior to the national championship game. Attendees can watch their favorite players, while listening in on interviews via free headsets and observe more than 1,000 journalists interact with the teams. Media Day will take place at the SAP Center.

Extra Yard for Teachers Summit - San Jose McEnery Convention Center

During the weekend of the College Football Playoff National Championship, the CFP Foundation hosts the Extra Yard for Teachers Summit (Summit), a two-hour, fast-paced stage show, as a way to inspire and empower teachers in the host city. Imagine an engaging gathering of teachers coming together to hear inspiring speakers and see incredible performances by people who are there for one reason: to recognize the hard work of those on the front lines of education. Past speakers include Condoleeza Rice, former US Secretary of State; Charles Best, founder of DonorsChoose.org; Joey Galloway, College Football ESPN analyst, and many more! There is no charge for admission, but registration is required.

Extra Yard 5K

The Extra Yard 5K is the official road race of teachers and education. The event includes live entertainment, activities with race sponsors and a post-race awards ceremony. All proceeds benefit Extra Yard for Teachers, the College Football Playoff Foundation’s primary platform that elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering quality teachers.

Taste of the Championship - The Tech Museum of Innovation

Taste of the Championship is a foodie’s dream. Ticket buyers will sample gourmet food and beverages from the Bay Area's most notable restaurants and breweries while celebrating teachers from across the United States. Proceeds from the event support the College Football Playoff Foundation and its Extra Yard for Teachers platform. The Tech Museum of Innovation will be the place to be for the bites in town!

Championship Tailgate is the gathering place for fans who want to experience extreme tailgating at the College Football Playoff National Championship. With a full day of outdoor activities, fans will have the opportunity to zip line, participate in free-fall stunt jumps and more all at site of the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, Levi's® Stadium. Open to ticket-holders only.
