Senter Road Studios Project Based Vouchers Funding
Environmental Assessment for HUD-Funded Proposals
National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

A request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Project Based Voucher funds under Title I Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended by the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, will be sent with the purpose to undertake a project known as Senter Road Studios. The proposed project and/or activities is to provide rental subsidy for qualified residents living in 80 of the project’s 162 units. Senter Road Studios is a new construction housing development consisting of two four-story buildings containing 160 studio units and two two-bedroom manager’s units on a 2.56 acres of the total 3.46-acre parcel. The proposed housing development will be built in two phases and will be permanent supportive housing to the chronically homeless individuals and families.

A draft Environmental Assessment was completed in order to disclose all environmental impacts of the proposed proposed project and/or activities. An Environmental Assessment with the determination of Finding of No Significant Impact on the environment for this proposed project and/or activities is posted below for the public review and comment.

Public Comment Period
The public comment period on this draft Environmental Assessment begins on February 19, 2016 and ends on March 5, 2016. Please send written comments concerning the Environmental Assessment document by 5:00 P.M. on March 5, 2016 to the project manager listed below.
