October 25, 2017 Community Meeting

The St. James Park Design Competition winning team has further developed the concept plan through working closely with Friends of Levitt Pavilion San José Board, collaborating with related agencies and City departments, and incorporating community input from several community outreach activities. The team will present the draft refined concept plan and seek additional feedback in the community meeting on October 25th.

When: Wednesday, October 25, 2017
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Where: City Hall, Wing Building, rooms W119 - W120

We hope you are able to participate. Please feel free to forward the meeting to someone who is interested in St. James Park redevelopment.



March 7, 2017 – City Council Meeting

The St. James Park Design Competition item was before City Council, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, Item 5.1. City Council accepted the recommendation to negotiate and execute a contract with CMG Landscape Architecture.

During this event the four St. James Park Design Competition Finalists will present their plans and approach to revitalizing St. James Park to a Design Jury in Room 225 located within the Martin Luther King Library located at 150 E. San Fernando Street, Room 225, San Jose, CA 95113.

October 6, 2016  - "Designing St. James Park" SPUR San Jose event 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Come hear the City of San Jose's Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services Department and MIG [consulting group]
talk about the process for the St. James Park Design Competition and get a sneak preview of the four final design submissions in a new exhibition hosted at SPUR San Jose.
