Spreckles Sanitary Sewer Force Main and Pump Rehabilitation Project
File No. PP16-067
An Addendum to the Spreckles Sanitary Force Main and Pump Station Rehabilitation Project Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) was drafted for the proposed project.  The environmental impacts of this project were addressed by an IS/MND entitled, "Spreckles Sanitary Sewer Force Main Supplement & Pump Station Rehabilitation Project," and findings were adopted by the City Council Resolution No. 76630 on May 14, 2013.  The IS/MND for the Project (File No. PP11-104), linked below, evaluated potential environmental impacts that could occur as a result of implementing the Spreckles Sanitary Sewer Force Main Supplement Phase II Project, which is the second phase of sanitary sewer improvements in the Alviso area.

Subsequent to adoption of the IS/MND, the Project has undergone further development and now proposes the removal of two trees in the right-of-way along Los Esteros Road. Because the City has proposed these changes following IS/MND adoption, an Addendum to the IS/MND is required to meet the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Location
City-owned lands west of the San Jose-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (RWF).
