The celebrations listed below are permitted professional public fireworks displays conducted by licensed professionals.

Rotary Fireworks Show
Discovery Meadow, Downtown San José
5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday, July 4

Join the Rotary Club of San Jose in celebrating Independence Day at Discovery Meadow. The downtown event is sponsored by the Rotary Club with support from the City of San José, Santa Clara County, the Knight Foundation, Adobe Systems, Arcadia Development and Core Companies. 

The Independence Day celebration attracts 80,000-90,000 people annually since its return in 2014.

Rose Garden area and The Alameda
10:00 a.m., Monday, July 4

Enjoy an old fashioned family-style parade as it winds through the Rose Garden neighborhood ending on the grand avenue of the The Alameda. In its ninth year, this homespun parade features live bands, dance groups, home-made floats, kids on bikes, antique cars, and more. The parade begins at 10 a.m. at Lincoln High School and winds its way through the Shasta-Hanchett neighborhood to The Alameda. For more information...
